How to fill out the Request for Hardship Affidavit RMA Loan modification

If you have applied recently for a loan modification to assist you in keeping your home out of foreclosure or you are seeking to just reduce your monthly mortgage payment, you have probably heard of the Request for Modification Affidavit or RMA.

Like any government issued form it has to be filled out correctly and completely! I cannot stress how often people get bounced out of the review process because they may have forgotten to

1) sign and date the form

2) filled in the DOB (date of birth)

3) social security

4) checked off a box

5) on page 2 forget to put 0’s if no dollar amount applies.

Believe it or not take the 5 minutes to review each page, do NOT leave anything blank!!!

Write in N/A or for dollar amounts $0.00. if items do not apply to you. Simple proof read before submitting it to your lenders home retention department or loss mitigation department, it will save you a lot of headache and time…
